It's very dry up there at the moment. We went round by the south walls to the trig and over the fence to a quad bike track, and had dry feet on getting to Stake moss, which I wasn't expecting! I believe rain is forecast for next week. Bugger. Typical.

a great set of videos! I watched them last night. The Fleet Moss crossing and the subconsious episodes warrant particular praise, not to mention the dancing on a fence post!
just hope his leg gets better before the big day, it would be a real shame if he can't make it. I'll be looking for him at the startline and beyond (if I can keep up!) to lend some support.

Who's the guy in the youtube blog thingy? He seems to live somewhere around Ilkley/Blubberhouses area, and by week nine had obviously lost the plot!

That'll level the playing field somewhat (figuratively speaking) as all the recces of this stretch described on here useless now, probably no quad tracks to follow....and no handrail either unless you cross from Yockenthwaite Moor to the wall South of Cray Tarn then back-track up to the new Hells Gap CP location.
