Just read it on the Fra Facebook page that Ambleside AC have announced that it's on the Sunday 28th with registration at the Rugby club. This would be a departure from the norm as it's usually the day after Boxing Day. I'm just glad it's on whatever day it is.

Hi Lefty, it was on the 28th last year after the original date of the 27th being cancelled due to dangerously high winds. Like you say it's good that the race is on, love this race and Ambleside is beltin for some post Christmas walking gear purchases.

Thanks Darren, I remember it being put off last year until the next day due to the high winds. Good call by the organisers but good to see its on this year.
