    Race/running plans for 2009?

Well, it's that time of year when I begin to make some plans for the next.

Quite simply, I hope to race more in 2009! More shorter/medium races that is (training for the long 'uns takes so much bloomin' time).

    Anybody else any specific plans?

Ooh heck, i'm training for long 'uns, can't have a natter on these short ones, we'll see if i'm still talking after the Fellsman, if i get that far
Seriously Jan, i'm going for it, cos i'm not getting any younger or prettier, and it keeps the fat, lazy side of me at bay

Given the lack of a job at the moment I'm going to target local races at least for the time being. As well as the usual cross countries leading up to the national. Then probably aiming to dip inside three hours at Bungay marathon in April.
Hoping for a far more successful 2009

I'm thinking, beyond May, if my legs still work, would love to do the Ben
And Wasdale, Ennerdale, Borrowdale, plenty lakeland trips planned.
