and make sure you put the punctuation in the right places.
I'll say a prayer for a blessing on your key board.
I am sure it will help.![]()
I’m also thinking of entering and this would also be my longest run. What is the furthest you have run to date and what time are you aiming for in this?
Appears to be a maximum of 10hours to complete which is ~3mph – little more than a fast walk – how hard can it be!!!
Don't underestimate it novice. I did last yearIt seemed tougher than I expected with some good running but quite a lot of climbing on a hot day. Last year's results here might give you a target to aim for

Thanks for that
The problem is I live in self denial and always think things will be easier than they actually are until I do them. I then tell myself I’ll never be so daft again. However couple of weeks later the pain has gone and I’m thinking of the next at the edge of my ability race!! Oddly I enjoy it!
I like the idea of an 'edge of my ability' challengeKeep pushing on

I did Troller's Trot back in March, that's 25M and I got round in 5:40 which is 13 1/2 min/miling, and I walked long stretches after half way cos I was having a bit of a "bad day"
I'm hoping to hold to no slower than 15-min-miling at LTOB, so if I can crack 8 hours I'll be happy
ain't Progressive Overload wonderful?!
I'm actually using LTOB as a tester/stepping-stone towards Bullock Smithy at beginning Sept...
Daz I've done Trollers in 4hour 22min and the Long Tour took a bit over 8hour 30min. I rocked up thinking it was a Haworth Hobble with a bit of extra climb so 7hour was my original target but it's tougher than it seems. It's one of those events like the Calderdale Hike that seem harder than you expect![]()
