    Hawaii ironman 2011

Yet another victory for Chrissie Wellington, british women, 1st, 3rd, 4th and 11th, not forgetting Juile Dibbens being first off the bike with 112m ride in 4hr 44mins, but dropping out after 8miles of the run.

Tom Lowe first British bloke in 11th in 8hr29m.

Phenomenal effort by the Brits again, shame about the lack of BBC coverage (again)

She is something else. Glad to see her return to winning after missing last year.

She had a crash the other week as well, still won!

Did she get in top 10 overall as well?

Overall came 28th according to website.

Just read that she tore a pectoral muscle in that crash, her swim time was pretty good then!!

Would have affected her on the bike too and made holding her aero-tuck really uncomfortable... fantastic performance that really shows what an amazing athlete she is and the strength in depth of GB long course women.

Craig Alexander ripped it up too!

Saw you running along the pavement of the A6033 towards Oxenhope today. Didn't fancy Beefy's Nab?

On children duty, party drop off then quick run before pick up. Also running like an ++++ at the moment, feel like I have no speed at all at the moment. Decided that I just need some non-race miles to start enjoying it again and remind me that I run for fun. Must admit running today was good and very relaxing.....

Glad you enjoyed it, the nab was awfully wet and windy.
