Main road in Mytholmroyd is still closed according to the travel news link that Manhar posted.
So yes, take the top road!
For anyone coming from Sowerby Bridge direction, turn right off the main road at Luddendenfoot and go through Midgley towards Pecket Well.
Sounds like Todmorden is open though, so should be OK coming from that direction.
Cheers, Bill, but after the cancellation of today's Harden Moss race, I'll be heading up to Clougha Pike with the kids for the Junior English Champs! At least I'll be able to wear wellies - no bogs for me! Hope it goes well.
Just had news that the main road through Mytholmroyd is now open.
