Thanks Luv Shack and small army of helpers for another classic event. Good conditions and visibility lower down but icy around the Brown Knoll area. The rime frost on the grass and the stone walls was a great sight.

I went clockwise. K14 was reached by Kinder road, should have gone via the Snake path. K13 and 14 were pretty straightforward. Caught up with forumite Daz the slug, who'd lost his map, at K12 which was visible from a distance. Heather bashing along the Three Knolls to K8 spring pipes was hard work. Crossing Oaken clough to K6 it started to get quite cold. It seemed to be the halfway point as the CW and ACW's met. K5 near Brown Knoll was very misty. The run in via K2,3,1,4 and 9 weren't too bad. Saw a couple of Ravens by South Head. Apart from a cut shin thanks to an icy peat bog was the only injury.

Super soup and cake afterwards finished the day off nicely. Cheers to all again.

Many Thanks to Andy, Steve et al for one of the best organised/best full stop events of the year as ever

sbrt - great photos (esp of me!)

I should just chuck away my map every year, as this was my best result ever!

Thanks Stagger for offering outstanding support at the end. I would have been in a real pickle without you.

    Nice day for the Trial.

Well done all who took on the challenge. Another great event by Luvshack and his band of merry helpers.

Cake and soup in abundance and well received.

    Another great Hayfield Champs event.
Great to see you Stagger - it's been a while!

Thanks to Andy for another cracking event. I reckon that must be my 12th Trial now.

Aha, at last I can put a face to the name Stagger, if you were the chap giving Truck the race numbers at the finish.

Perhaps we aught to wear large game show type badges at races with our user names on them. Geoff B is easy to spot, he's the former Yorkshire and England batsman and I play the piano in the nuddy.
