Not sure If i will be there as I may be in London and if not it is the first of the summer X series at Oakbank school Keighley, so I am torn between the two.

If I do make it rest assured I shall complete it fully dressed this time.

Just got in from running this and it isn't as good as the actual course. Steep but short grassy fields to the halfway road then you have to go round a blind bend on this before heading up a concrete track to Sunny Side then a couple more fields of short grass gets you onto the fell. This is a mixture of large tussocks and bog and isn't very nice I ran back along the normal course.

Also, the ground is bone dry, even the really boggy bit has nearly dried up.

I'm sure it'll get rainy again before raceday. Paul the weatherman's predicting a lovely dose of so'westerlys for next week.

I won't be running tommorrow as my knee's relapsed a bit and it's got to settle properly. Brett, if you're short of marshals PM me otherwise i think a gentle bike ride is on the cards.
