Unfortunately Galtymore falls the same time as this year's Lakeland 100 which I'm going back to run in again. But its a great race and you will enjoy it I'm sure....really steep ups and downs and technical in spots. If the weather is good you'll be well rewarded with stunning views. If not then you'll have enough to do getting up Cush and the two Galty's to keep ya occupied
PS: Adam is a top man! Great company round that course
Paul
Yes it was funny with his description of those intimitate things that people must do. I am a very average runner and feel a bit in awe of the top runners in the club, not so with Adam, a pure gentleman. He has got a job and is now living away from Manchester so I have not seen him in months.
I had a read of the Galtymore thread on IMRA and the guys commented that the return over Cush is a real sting in the tail
Good luck with the lakeland this year.

For anyone interested (and with time to waste) I wrote a bit of a longwinded account of how last week went which can be found here: www.overtrailsandhills.blogspot.com
Thanks again for the help I received on this fine site!!

Great read Paul, thanks for posting.
Somebody was getting a bit "arty" with the Black and White photos. I loved the little YouTube clip from Moot hall you looked tired!
There was some amount of people involved!
Great report, saw Bill on the OCT, he mentioned he'd done a daft thing the day before, just before he stormed off up Grey Friars with Alan Lucker.
Hills and Guinness!
