Daz, I'd be delighted to do leg 2 with you - it seems like ages since we ran together at Bradwell - BUT.... I've discovered that I've nearly double booked myself, in that I'm running Rombalds Stride on the Saturday. I know that technically means I'm still free on the Sunday, but after 23 miles the day before, I'd struggle. I wouldn't want to let the Ponies down at the last minute, so it might be better for me to drop out now.

Tussockface - You could go on the short (5.5M) Leg 4 with Tom?

or if you're worried about maybe being injured after Rombald's, you could bow out gracefully, but I could put you down as an emergency reserve (if you come through Rombald's unscathed and we needed you)?

    Shorter means faster!
And I'm permanently worried about injury these days!
Put me down as an emergency reserve, nothing to lose by that.

You need to get a bit of lard on yer bones, then perhaps you wouldn't twat your fetlock so often.

It's running fast that twats me fetlock so lard may indeed stop it happening, has that been your experience Porky?

As a recoverd lame pony poking his snout in the stable again I must say the horseplay is def caty....... But saying that I wore my vest on an event earlier this
Year and was asked if I'm still a member of "the fat bloke brigade" !!!
Have all the ponies been over grazing in my time away ? Should I stop dropping weight to fill my vest ???
