    Couple of questions

can you request a start time?
Also roughly what is the typical distance ascent of the trial?

    cheers

    yes you can approx....

give a 10 minute window or ask for an early start time..etc

Its an 'O' event it depends on your route choice as to precise distance and climb. best check results from previous years and see where you would come against runners you know.

As Ian has noted, you are welcome to request a Start Time (between 10am & 11am)...

Distance, can vary due to the "O" nature of the Event - generally between 10 & 14 miles - depending on route choice!!

Also those taking part need to have experience in competing in Events of this nature, although it could be that someone new to Winter "O" Fell Running Events of this nature can run with ANO who is experienced.

Entries are open and updates will appear (Thanks to SteveT) on the Hayfield Fell Races website /www.t42.org.uk/hayfield/

    Hope this helps

PS - Amazing "Up There" again today and this eve too - don't think I'll peddle down Tunstead Clough & Edale Rd & Kinder Rd this eve for a swift half :-) .....Warm boots on next!!

    Cheers Trev',
understand entirely, was more than tough putting out the Kontrols today, back before dark & more snowfall (just!!), hopefully catch-up again soon,

As ever it's very nearly hear and mostly all sorted too.....
Maps all made & re-shaded with Out of Bounds & more.....
All permissions with Natural England, Peak Park, National Trust, Farmers & other Land Owners all sorted.....at last ....phewieeeee!
Scout Hut warming up nicely.....Old School/Village Field behind the Hut booked for parking, (unlocked in the morning - reminder to me!)

Sleeting heavily outside now under Kinder - could be tricky in the morn'
Please do park behind the Scout Hut, unless it's too snowy, if that the case, please park at the Bus Station....
Soup & Cake & more at the ready....Prizes too....

See you RCKT'ers in the morn - more info on Entries & Start Times (some have changed) at www.t42.org.uk/hayfield/ Thanks to SteveT

Hi All. It was great fun sending you all out to brave a wintery Kinder. Thanks for being patient with the shift in some of the start times. Next year I aim to make it a bit clearer for everyone that you start time is a bit of an estimate that we aim to keep to but a bit of slippage may occur. Cheers Truck.
