Tortoise and a lizard while on our evening walk.
Great here for wildlife and sunshine
Slightly further afield.
Just a turtle or 2 seen from the beach.
Not Scarborough either
Crunchy meat pies. Turtles are saltier than tortoises.
Humming bird hawk moths here in Rodez, North of Toulouse.
Short-eared owl (I think) on the side of Shutlingsloe at about 7:30 yesterday. Also, this week's great excitement: hedgehogs in the garden. Three little ones so far, which makes me think there will be big ones that are less fearless. I say "fearless" - Mrs Noel tried to take a photo of one of the little ones, and it walked up to her and sniffed the lens of the camera!
Were the three little ones together? Or did they arrive on their own?
