Number 307. Just going for a completion this year as I've had a bad year for illness and injury. Just want to get through Redshaw before grouping. Sitting in Dent for over two hours before deciding to carry on didn't help last time I did this!

Just complaining to the other half about how slow our posties are cause everyone has their numbers....the she said "a little book thing came for you on Saturday"!!!! So my number is 171, but that is all I have, the book with the number stuck on it.....is there anything else supposed to be in with it?
But easy to remember at checkpoints...........
I'm 190 and it'll be my first Fellsman.
I remember reading the threads on here a few years ago about the Fellsman when I first started fell running and thinking I'd love to be able to do that - now I'm going to (hopefully!).
So excited, can't wait to get going
Haha, its only something like 47 miles to go from the trig on Gragareth too!
I can still remember my very first fellsman when I was stumbling down the rubble strewn cart track into Dent having been running for something like 4.5 hours, and feeling like I'd had more than enough to be honest - its amazing to then think that I carried on and managed to get to Threshfield getting on for 14 hours later
I meant to say that I am Number 108 for my 18th Fellsman :w00t: So, it doesn't really hold any fears for me. I know what to expect. As long as I am fairly fit and don't suffer any catastrophies on the day, then I should get through. It's just a matter of how quick or slow I am.
