Ready to Race!

Hi everyone,

I've been running for a little while, mostly in the mornings and on the gym treadmills.
Decided to up the game lately and to my horror found that one of my internet buddies signed me up to the Salomon TURBO X in November! How's that for motivation?

I work for a small online retailer called fitnessfootwear as a one man marketing team. So I thought it was the perfect time to get out there and Live It. Been having a real blast ever since and met some awesome people.

Since then my gym sessions have been more serious and I've been giving Vibram Five Fingers a try, but don't run very far. I'm a natural mid-forefoot striker anyway, so I haven't injured myself...yet. Also looking forward to the Inov8 Evoksins coming out, having tried them on and reviewed them at work.

So that's me -a geek embracing the great outdoors at speed.

I've got 5 months until the Turbo X and have started a blog to chart my progress and keep in touch with my new running buddies.
