I somtimes do a loop from the Nick up to the trig via ogden down n up the big end then back along the ridge past the cairns down the clough at the end n back up to the nick you get a bit of running , pushing ,dragging carrying and a bit of peddling too !
fixing van this weekend so a no go & doing the helvelyn round with the crosser next weekend(a nice bit of carrying there !)
so might join you in a couple of weeks
I need to train carrying the bike, it is most definitely my weakest link... but Pendle is a tad far away for me alas...

Might have been tempted to join you (albeit sans bike) if it weren't for me blummin' legs.
Ady, will be doing a bit of 3 Peaks specific stuff a bit nearer the event. Nice painful route up and down at Rivi if you fancy it. Hopefully your bike will survive a little better than last time you came out with me! ;0)
