fracture to cuboid

Done on descent at Shelf Moor, semi twist of the foot, not enough to sprain ankle but sharp pain felt midfoot. Very sore later in the day and a visit to A & E monday at 7.00 am after largely sleepless night! X ray showed an irregularity of cuboid and i was given the 'magic' tubigrip and i am booked back at A&E clinic in 2 weeks. Monday afternoon and overnight my midfoot area is swollen and i am non-weight bearing on borrowed crutches.
Anyone have experience/knowledge of this injury?
