Can anyone confirm whether this race is on again this year or not please?:confused:

will this event have parking? spotted the advert near the chesire cheese but that road is not good for parking on a good day!

looking forward to it.

Parking is on the sportsground so there is an unlimited amount.

Cant wait for the new course - after canvassing opinion last year the race apparently now goes to Win Hill Summit and even the durge through the housing estate has gone.

That's 4 races that include the summit of Win Hill that I'm aware of. Edale Skyline, Bamford Sheepdog Trials, (please no more puns about that:p - my side's are still aching), Bamford Carnival and Hope Wakes. Are there any more?

Some you Win Some you Lose - that did - but for one year only as its been pulled from the calender this year unfortunatly - pity - cos it was a goodun? Anyone know if it might come back??

Does the High Peak Marathon include the Winhill summit?
