I thought it'd be interesting to hear of good places to read race reports for anyone who, like me, likes reading about how things went.
The Borrowdale website has some great reports, my favourites being by a chap called 'Stan'.
An example of his work: 'I would have stopped off for some sight seeing but there was nothing to look at in this section not even any nice backsides.' I feel like I was there!
most club sites seem to have something there.
there is a steady stream from the Bowland website and P&B comeback king Finny usually lets us know what's happened with a dash of Leeds colour. occasionly Boff even puts pen to paper and scribes something quite wonderful!
Finny (owmeknee) is getting fit again I notice - must admit I have looked at the P&B site occasionally and read Martyn's colourful 'reports'!Quote:

Didn't think this was worth its own thread, but since the best reports seem to be on the Borrowdale website, can anyone else spot themselves on the new photo on the Borrowdale homepage? I believe it's from Wasdale 2012.
It's an honour for the top of my head and part of an ear to appear on such a site!
(But more to the point, the race reports seem to have gone. Hope they're reinstated soon.)
