Knee pain..Meniscus Cartilage?
Recently been doing a lot of hill work to try and improve my fell running ability and has been going well. However I have started to get a bit of knee pain when pressing the clutch on my car and I occasionally get a stabbing pain behind my knee cap when climbing stairs. This last happened just before the great north run when I increased my mileage. I will obviously reduce my hill work but any other tips or ideas would be appreciated. Oh by the way I'm 39 and very new to fell running.

I'm no Doc or Physio so go see one but it could be what I have patella tenonitis.

Agree, best advice that could be given. Physio will be better than a Doc.

Cheers. I've booked in to see a physio so fingers crossed its nothing too serious. Also getting sore Achilles in same leg.
