hi all,
I am entered for this beast of a race and am looking for anyone who wants to join me for a recce of the route sometime over the first 2 weekends in June. If anyone knows the route would be great, if not we can work it out as we go along.:w00t:

Hi Dan, I'd been interested in joining you for a recce, but would have to be the second weekend for me (entered Yetholm on the first weekend). Don't have any real knowledge of the route i'm afraid though. Are any of your other Tod club mates entered in this beast?

Sounds like we've got a plan, starting to look forward to this race now.
Is anyone else up for joining me and Tim for a recce of this race on Saturday 8th, would be great if anyone who knows the area could come.
Also does anyone have any route hints/tips and a map would be nice.

See Daz Holloway Race - Entries Open thread for recce info. I had a run around as far as Newlands Hause which is approx 9/10 mile and 3,800'!

Looking at the AA site its going to take us just over 2 hours from Todmorden so I would suggest leaving around 7.30am so we can get a start around 10.
Can you make it to Tod or do you need picking up ? Let me know whats best for you.
Anyone else up for a recce we will be in Loweswater around 9.45am.
