Re: Long distance fell shoe
My 300's have been absolutely fine including the HPM (41 miles), the Haworth Hobble (31 miles) and the Fellsman (61 miles). It must be something to do with your feet ;)
Re: Long distance fell shoe
315s - grip not quite as good on steep stuff but better on wet rock, and much more comfortable on anything hard.

Absolutely.
Re: Long distance fell shoe
Roclite 315s are my long distance shoe of choice :) However, I have to say that I wear my mudclaw 300s more and more because they are the best fell shoe I've ever had. Far more comfortable than the 333s.

Re: Long distance fell shoe
I've been wearing the XC version of the La Sportiva crosslite for long distances and found them extremely comfortable. Not a single rub, blister or sore spot anywhere on my feet after this years 3 peaks. Terrain was very mixed this year as well so they got tried on most surfaces.

A good year though. I put a few pairs down in my cellar.
