New Sutton Pinnacles Race 2012
This race is taking place at 4pm on Sunday the 17th of June.
It is 9km and not that steep.
It is my third year of organising and I am hoping that it will be the best yet.
Last two years have been out and back, this time it is circular - going over the moor, after the Hitchingstone and down Sutton Clough.
Information and route description is on www.kcac.co.uk
There is also a map, which will be on there in a few days. I can email a copy to anyone who wants one.
Reccys of the route are taking place - Saturday the 9th of June, at 10 am, and Wednesday the 13th, at 7pm, both meeting outside the King's Arms, in Sutton.
All welcome,
Camille

This is a great route. I've actually been on a reccee.
Some nice felly moorland with curlews and everything.
The Aire Valley has some great running around it.
Re: New Sutton Pinnacles Race
I have to say this route reminds me of the school cross country course where I used to hide umder the bridge with the smokers. I'm often back imto the Sutton/Crosshills area and one day it will coincide with this race.

bigfella you were very lucky to have that as your XC route, although I guess it didn't seem like it at the time. Was the smoker's bridge in the Clough?

Given it's a 4pm start, this Fell Pony may appear over the horizon for this:thumbup:
