Hi All,
I will be running a recce of my new Race Orchan Rocks on Sunday 9th March at 11am, from Race HQ at the Staff of Life Pub Burnley Road Todmorden. All Welcome, will be a steady run round probably 45 - 50 minutes. If enough people are interested can arrange soup at the pub afterwards.

Great Recce Yesterday, with lots of positive comments about the route.
Big thanks to Simon, Tom, Andrea, Bob and Lee for coming along. Cant forget Simons dog Rosie, who probably ran the course twice and also ran straight into the landowners house (past the landowner). Was one of the funniest things i have seen in a while. :laughter:
Quite dry conditions compared to last time i ran the course, but still quite a bit of mud. The second climb past the rocks seems to be that one that will make or break your race, if you can run this at a decent speed you will do well. :wink3:
There will be another recce to come at the beginning of April, date to be confirmed.

The next Recce of Orchan Rocks will be on Monday 31st March starting at 6.30pm. This is from the Staff of Life Car Park, Burnley Road, Todmorden, all welcome. Don't forget the next recce of Orchan Rocks Fell Race route is on the last day of the month, should be a good warm up for Pendle the following saturday.
