Are any experienced runners planning a recce of any legs on Thursday 29th? i only have minimal navigation skills and fancy a bit of company. Im not fussed which leg or where in the lakes i run as long as i get miles and elevation in.

I suggest you buy a map for your nearest bit of countryside and a Silva compass and learn to use them. Walk to start with; it'll be easier
I'm not being "snobby", or eletist. What happens if your "guide" in the Lakes twists an ankle or is taken ill?
