Junior Race - 12.15pm
12-16 years
Course: Summit of Winder & back
The ascent and distance in the seniors depends on the route you choose between checkpoints. :) I'll post a map when I get back from the Ben.

One or two of our Seniors are looking for a AM / AL race and I just want to have an idea if this would fit the bill.
I will await further info.
Thanks.

I've just measured it out on the map and it's 7.1 miles and 2300 feet. So that makes it a good AM. It's a classic Howgill up and down course, but get the lines wrong and it'll be nearer 3000 feet. It's a great course that I've reccied a couple of times. Navigation wont be a problem unless the cloud is right down, in which case it'll make it interesting. :)

Cheers Harry - my daughter's already given the thumbs up to the Junior race and I will be there for the Senior. Hopefully I'll encourage a few team-mates to tag along.

The junior races up Winder are also great little courses. See you there.

Could be a cracking little race this one. Flyers were been handed out at the Ben Race on Saturday.

Good to se the Helm Hillers doing a good plugging job. Sedbergh hall is a good venue. You can watch everyone coming down off Winder without even going outside.

Sorry about the colour. If anyone's got any mapping software and a spare few minutes??
