KWL Fell End Clouds 8 Feb

Watch this space on Friday as there is a possibility that the Kendal Winter League race at Fell End Clouds this Sunday may have to be cancelled due to the snow that is already lying on the course, plus more is forecast. I'm not going to muck around last minute this year so a decision will be made on Friday.

If you know of anyone who normally travels up for the races then please pass on the message. There are a lot of Rossendale juniors attending again and I'd hate them to travel all the way up to be disappointed.

I'll post on here on Friday and also on the Helm Hill Runners website.

Harry, is there going to be no race then, or is The Helm likely to be put on as a backup race? Thanks

I've decided to cancel the race this Sunday.

The snow is ankle to knee deep on the route still and deeper off the path.

Also, the parking isn't feasible due to the drifts and the snow plough depositing snow to the side of the road.

I will not be organising an alternative location and will let you all know soon what this means for the number of counting races.
