You should knock more than 5 minutes of Mudlugger, you got 4 good weeks training at least just get round the route again.
Good to meet you yesterday
If I can just keep them at bay for longer, I will be more than happy. Good to meet you too.

I wouldn't take it personally, he doesn't like Adrian much either.
And the Mrs, well she said she did that on purpose, rival clubs and all that:D

I'd better do the same then. I did 3.51 last year.:)
Re: Pendle Reccie - Sun 14th O
My money is on Mudlugger to go 30mins quicker than last year. Hows that for confidence?
Re: Pendle Reccie - Sun 14th O
Same here, he'll easily blast that time.
Re: Pendle Reccie - Sun 14th O
So theres no pressure on Mudlugger then!!!
Re: Pendle Reccie - Sun 14th O
Its not pressure we're putting on. Its an assessment based on what I saw on Sunday. I think he'll pop round about half an hour quicker than last year.....thats all........

I am hoping to improve, but will see what happens at my usual, often comfortable (descents), more often uncomfortable (ascents) pace.
Thanks for the analysis, your opinions are valued and no doubt based on more experience than I have. I just enjoy my running, especially through muddy puddles without my wellies on.
Re: Pendle Reccie - Sun 14th O
Well my entry is in the post.
I thought if Mudlugger can get round purely powered by ibulieve gel, then so can I powered by fruslie bars and ribena!

Thats the spirit sluggard! Although I did nibble on a snicker bar too.
I will certainly be packing a tube of that fast, effective instantly absorbing pain releif gel (they've had enough endorsements in this thread) and maybe a couple of butties?
