Out on the moors last night and was very surprised about just how quickly they have dried so probably no need for swimming kit. I was out in plimsolls and they coped just fine as always.

Thanks Clash City Rocker. I'll put my armbands back in the cupboard then . I must take midge repellent this time out though!

Marmite is supposed to make you mozzi proof, should work for midges too, it's a b@st@rd to wash off after though!
Re: Cragg Vale 2011 - Weds 29
Marmite is also difficult to smear on :D
I'm going to use boots repel natural citrepel 75. No idea if it'll work!

Is it citrus they don't like? Perhaps I should sqeeze Jiffy lemon on? No idea what the active ingredient of marmite might be, but it I reckon you might repel most mamals as well as insects if you run up past the Hinchliffe smeared in a savoury sandwich filling.
Re: Cragg Vale 2011 - Weds 29
Update on the marmite situation: I've been advised by my advisors your supposed to eat it. I have also been advised I'm a feckwit, not sure what that means? Any more advisors out there:confused::D
