Han, if you look carefully in the photos from the 50 you will find a shocker of me looking ready to expire before the first checkpoint....it's the one where my neck looks like Deidre Barlows....not my finest hour.
Bloody well done Steve, you looked fresh as a daisy this morning
Well done to everyone who finished or had a go at the 100 and the 50, some awesome runs, Terry the Tortiose getting under 20 hours, shaunandrachel winning the ladies, in the 100, and Fell Ponies elite winning the 50 team of two cat, to name but three. Awesome weekend:thumbup:
The only person I recognised off here was Britnick, who I recognised having read his blog on occasion! I should have written my forum nic on my number!!!
Good to see some of you chaps and chapesses over the weekend. I was envious and full of admiration as you departed, then when you began to trickle in. I have to say I did enjoy the slightly more sedate experience though. As I watched you suffer I just relived previous years to complete the picture.
200 photos so far uploaded, but I guess you will have seen them already if you ever go anywhere near facebook. There are more to come, plus a report when I can find the time.
Just read on Twitter, Terry Conway was faster to the finish from Kentmere than the L50 winner, bloody amazing, not to be outdone though, my time on the last leg this year was faster than last year when on the 50. I got lost last year:o
