I think he shouted "attack" and was misunderstood
joking aside this is quite disgusting action. isnt there one rider crashed with a broken collar bone. hope it was not caused by a puncture.
10/10 to sky for waiting for Evans

Sad day for the race, pointless gesture by some idiot - hope to god it wasn't a pissed up Brit who did it.
is anyone else bored with wiggo and team sky? he is the most boring rider since big mig. he just sits behind three or more other team sky bores. he has done nothing to talk about. thank god wiggo wont bore me to five titles or more.
this has been the worst tour i ve seen since the nineties when mig bored the whole cycling world. thank god when it is over.
nibs and evens had a go a while back but it now seems they have accepted the ginger berk is going to win. worst still he's a flipping jam fan.....shame on you and shave those idiot side burns and get some style.
why? it suited him and stopped nibs from attacking him. nice gentle ride to the finish line.
it's getting as bad as football now. not profiting from the mishaps of the yellow is one thing but where do you draw the line? i would have liked nibs to have attacked dropping boring wiggo and the awful team sky and take yellow all the way to paris.
I agree it is a little boring this year, but its good to see British riders doing so well. Much more interesting when half of the peloton are on drugs.....!?
Boring, yes. Awful, probably the wrong word to describe a team that's so far dominated the competition. Fended of attack after attack, albeit boringly so. Ruthless calm efficiency produces results if not excitement.
Maybe if/when Froome is given a lead role we'll see a more entertaining approach. But in the mean time I'm going to take loads of pro plus because I really should be excited about the prospect of a GB rider standing on any part of the podium in Paris.
All this winning and leading is very un-English and can only be the result of too much planning, training and, let's face it, trying too hard. As for not giving the other chap a chance well it simply isn't cricket.
At least last year he threw himself from his bike and broke his neck rather than show off about what a good rider he is.
I agree. It's the first time an Englishman has nearly won the Tour and I'm already bored. NOT.
I've watched the Tour since the Mid 80s and generally the yellow jersey is won by offence and then is defended and the rest are responsible for going on the offensive to try and unseat the incumbent.
Surely the grievance should be against the likes of Nibali - he talks a good game but has attacked less than Evans and mostly on the descents from what I've seen so far.
The Tour does seem to be short of climbers that can attack off a fast pace these days, maybe that's a reflection of the sport being cleaner.
