Umm thats not so good that Stolly's tracker not playing ball. Before anyone throws stones, I think this is the first one that has played up like this. Will have a look and see if we can spark it in to life.
We have got Stolly's tracker working again - sent it a reset text. If in doubt switch it on and off - just nice to do it from the comfort of my home. We can see its uploading plenty of buffered data so not quite sure why it got in a tizz. Still it looks like he is coming up on to Bow Fell. Sorry for the blip in the service.
http://maps.opentracking.co.uk/bg2013.cfm?n=5 is this correct? If so Chris is still on the go after nearly 29 hours!
As far as I understand Chris pulled http://maps.opentracking.co.uk/bg2013.cfm would have switched his tracker off at Honister.
Good to get it back on line. I'm not sure how accurate these things are but it appears to show them turn down the Bowfell ramp having not reached the summit. Surely not! Looks like good progress being made.
Actually it was pretty much when I sent the reset text so it would have taken a few minutes to reboot and lock on to a satellite.
Amazing stuff really.
