13.5 miler local today along the cliff tops and coastal tracks. Last 4 miles on the way back was quite tough going against the wind.
35 mile this week.
End of Week 5 of the training plan....11 weeks to go! :w00t:
Nice little outing - Greenfield - Ravenstones - Thomas Platt memorial cross - Ashway Stone - descent and through Dovvies quarries - back home via the cottages....Good to bump into TurboTom out for a run, the lads looking fit and geared up for the Champs series of races...
Me and Stef did circa 10 ml / 4000ft today Starbotton-Arncliffe-Kettlewell-Arncliffe-Starbotton. Never stopped raining. Made for a good weekend training with yesterday's Wadsworth Trog :)
Yeah I did it a couple of years ago but with little training as I got an unexpected reserve place 4 weeks before the day!
I'm sure you'll be fine, it's well footpathed/flagged. There's sudden drops off every mountain if you get to close to the edge! :w00t:
It's one of my favourite places and great atmosphere.
Looking forward to it, done lots of small local fell races, this be different lots of runners and lot harder than anything i done before. Heard only good things about race, just gonna tuck in towards the rear and get round the right course
