Fell Ponies are still abroad, literally.
My son-in-law, Flandrin the Flying Frenchman, wore his purple Pony vest today and completed a 50k mountain trail race in Luxembourg. His first ever ultra, and a UTMB point. As a result of an apprenticeship served on the Pennine fells, he insisted on fuelling his effort with Jelly Babies, which he had to import specifically for the purpose.
Well done, that man!

A Fell Pony was seen in San Diego today and there will be photographic evidence!
We are such a rare breed its a joy and a privilege to see another Pony, but do not think for one second we are a dying breed, a new pony is about to join this FRA forum and has vowed to complete the Bob Campbell Round thingy next year.
one pony completed over 54 races this year and only a damaged fetlock prevented it completing more.
Another Pony has been promoted to a high position within Health and Safety
and another Pony has or is about to have an article printed in a leading Mag
Early ponies are very busy with various music careers, so will not lower themselves to such tedious things like web sites.
And on a final note a few have been put in prison--- Various offences---- but all plainly guilty
