30 mins easy trot through woods. Gonna cycle 8m to work tonight on road bike and 4m home in morning, that'll do it for me;)
Nice easy 4 to ease my thighs back to life after a hard weekend. Not feeling light but if my thighs recover I am feeling hopeful for next weekend, as long as it isn't too hot.

Fantastic 7 mile run from Embsay res to Rylstone cross, (can't believe the mad people who raced it in the dark) across the bridle way to Embsay crag and a flying descent back to the start. A clear cool evening . Two pints in the Narrow boat. What more could you want in life?
Why would anyone want to run on the road.....hot hard tarmac? Very strange.
Felt pooped so just 60mins mainly on roads. Threw in a couple of climbs and some off-road. Really nippy out and didn't see a soul (as usual). Resting up now until Sunday. :p

Another steady 4 in the evening sun. After coming home furious from a horrid afternoon at work I wanted to stuff my face with curry and beer, but had one chocolate football, watched the 2nd half of germany losing and got my bones out with the dog and feel better for it.
However just opened my post and have acceptances for Ennerdale and Borrowdale here, so feeling sick now!!!!

Usual bike commute + 6 mile run - usual mix from home of road, woods, fields, towpath & riverside paths.
7 mile sort of time trial around great hill from white coppice. Gentle start and managed to slowly increase pace until about halfway round then stepped up pace to race pace. Surprised by the time about 8 minutes quicker than i thought I would be.:D

Lower body weights + abs.
820 metres ascent on stairclimber.

Took my mate on a 10k route across fields and getting slightly lost.
It took us 50 minutes but that included walking for a while becuase my pace was too quick for my mate, so if i was on my own i could have knocked a fair amount of time off.
