Mine's ladies large and fits ok - i think Derby Tub may need a slightly bigger size.

So as i was invited to join, can i just be a volunteer, as i am a beginner...
Course you can....if you saw some of the other Ponies running youd probably feel like a seasoned athlete anyway;)
I also have the perfect thing you can volunteer to do if you fancy coming to watch the Pennine Bridleway Relays....its a secret though and only one other Pony knows about it...ssshhh:D
George, what was that secret thing you mentioned to me the other day - ive forgotten.
Which pair of ponies are doing the Pennine Bridleway Relay Leg 2?
My mole (travels again) says he met a pony at Hebden who sends regards, but could not remember name, any ideas? The mole ran again today at Hart village a 6mile trail race just outside British West Hartlepool, I marshalled cos you got a free cuppa!
my first stab at suggesting pairings was as follows:
1) Amex & Dominion
2) Mrs C & Merrylegs
3) Crumblydown & Ambrosia Kid
4) Marcel & Pudgy
5) Daz & Mrs Amex
and nobody's complained... yet...
btw - DOES ANYBODY NEED ME TO SEND THEM COPIES OF THE RULES/REGULATIONS/ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS/MAPS ETC?
they can be got off the website, but I'm supposed to confirm in writing to the RO that I have ensured that everybody has got them...
This is an anynoimouse posting, hope the mrs. don't mind, couldn't resist:o

My imagination...:) you have no idea! go shhoooo
Sorry to hear that Amex - did you do it at the Auld Lang Syne race? - I think it was you I was talking to at the back just before the start. I also think I may have spoken to the mysterious Geordie mole at the same time....
First reserve is at the ready!!!!!:D
Neil
I heard you'd pulled up lame at ALS Amex. Was worried it was an achilles again. Get well soon :)
Ooops wrong window!
Amex - so you're deffo out then? bad luck :(
will you still be coming along to support?
is Mrs Amex still going to make it?
Nelly - looks like your patience has been rewarded!
do you want to do the short leg (4)? and could shift say Pudgy to Leg 2?
NirvanaBliss - the relay isn't until Feb.1st - so plenty of time for The Master to inflict his dastardly plan on you!
Ponies,
I appear to have goofed up here... I'm actually away in Mid Wales on a training weekend for the relays. So... if anyone else wants my place they can have it, but if no one else does then I'll come back a day early - although a later leg may be preferable. As long as I know the week before, there's no rush to let me know.
The shorter leg would be great for me!! :D:D
doh!
we still have Tussockface and The Master to draw on...
who fancies Leg1...?
sorry, slip of the finger - meant Pudgy to Leg1 in place of Amex, so Leg2 unaffected :o
so latest status:
1) Pudgy & A.N.Other
2) Mrs C & Merrylegs
3) Crumblydown & Ambrosia Kid
4) Marcel & Nelly
5) Daz & Mrs Amex
So, your Fell Ponies, does it have a facebook group?
Well on close inspection it says Russia, surely this is not you lot?
Cheers Mr C, when I get around to logistics and decision making (sounds like Master not!) I will confirm bed or no bed:D. The mole is Chris J, not a forumite , prolific racer though he is up and down the country every weekend with pony vest on, he was a member my other club. His motor must have 200,000 miles on and its only two years old!!!!!!!!!
