Plenty of room amongsdt the injured/no longer running etc etc etc... I can't remember when I last ran, I can remember all my XOTF's though :)
Amex, let me know if you want some thoughts on a route that is both rideable and runnable?

It's been too long. Best try and get round to this again! Amex...Mr Brightside is correct....no surrender ;)
Will be there again for the drinking but may do the Tour de Helvellyn on Saturday
Any news on this? Amex, will you be booking us in for the party night again? If so, when do you need the dosh and how much? Ta! xxx
A list maybe?

NOTE: apologies, not in alphabetical order.
What??? I was in the bloody pie shop!!!!!!
This thing still on?? Anybody going apart from me and martin? OI Bret it's the tenth year.
I better sort a route out?
Where are most folk up for going on the sat???? Han you still up for a bit of fun??????
On the dance floor?
I made it eight not ten. We'll be there
Oh...on the dancefloor...whatevs
I'd be up for a good old fashioned pub nosh-up round a big table if there's a venue with enough seating for everyone. The Skiddaw crammed us in too tight and swamped us with enough decorations to refloat the Titanic. I'm coming up wherever we go though, what are the confirmed dates???
yah boo, i am running/ jogging/ walking the tour de helvellyn that weekend so will miss this once again. hope you all have a great weekend. Steve, sorry the injury has caught up with you but pretty amazing what you have done since the accident anyway. are you still cycling?
Myself and Pat have just booked a hotel for the Friday and Saturday night. May still yet do the TdeH but either way will definitely be around for the drinking bit.
Definitely up for it. I may even bring Mr Hanneke, if he lasts that long ;)
Amex, how about somewhere we can cycle, the others run or walk?
I liked the Skiddaw, that was an excellent party!
I've booked the B&B for the 19/20th, is that the dates everyone else is working to?
Can't wait to get tanked up on Loweswater Gold friday night.
Again XOTF is colliding with other interests.
Skiing this year. Which is acceptable. If there is snow.
I shall be coming up for the weekend. Walk, run, jog, bimble for Saturday I don't mind as long as it doesn't involve being on 2 wheels.
Would be up for the Skiddaw hotel do again, preferred that to the curry, but I'm not that fussed if ends up being something else as long as beer and dancing is involved at some stage.
So, what is the plan? Is there a route for Saturday, running and/or cycling?
What are we doing Saturday? Do we need to book the Skiddaw Hotel party?
Have we got a difinitive list yet?
The plan is as follows for ease (ie I can't be arsed making another route) meet at base of 2012 route St Johns in the Vale at 10.30 am potter round--- that night time, me and martin are going to Skiddaw for a dance if others would like to join us let me know by the end of this week. rest is as they say up to you.
Dog and thingy Friday night??
Hann your running this year.
Sorry, I'm probably bailing out this year. I *might* come up Friday for a beer or two in the Dog and Gun and a run / bike round on Saturday, but I'm working Friday and elsewhere Sunday so definitely can't stay Saturday night, and not sure I fancy Friday evening on the M6!.
I can't walk, let alone run! :-o
It seems to look like we are a bit thin on the ground for the Saturday evening? I heard some rhumours about puppies stopping play?
Mr Hanneke is moving house the weekend before, if all goes to plan, so allthough he would like to come along, he may have to bail out...
Do we have to book the Skiddaw party, or could we decide nearer the time, i.e. on the day/dat before?
I am going to have to look for a bike route then... I am trying to remember what route St John in the Vale was... Dom, if Mr Hanneke can't make it, do you fancy driving up together on Friday eve after work? Should be quiet on the road by then...
Ah, St John in the Vale, I was walking backwards that year, because of my knee not wanting to bend... I have the same problem now :) That was when I had to dig out my car, wasn't it? Low turnout because of snow stopping play?
I will have a look for a cycle route that can meet halfway with the runners for some minceing pies?
Maybe :)

Better map... slight adaptation can be made, as would start Threlkeld/finish Threlkeld or even Keswick, adding an out and back along the disused railway line. I do wonder how accessible the rest of the disused railway line is, as that would make a much better loop. I doubt it is, or I would have found it as a route.
H, i've rolled my ankle so i won't be doing any fell running for a few months, i'll do that bike ride with you as long as i don't get a sudden knee problem. Amex, are you and martin booked in for The Skiddaw? H says it's full. If we aren't able to book in why don't we just see where we end up? Maybe there's one of those kerdiddle things going on somewhere, we can have a competition to see who can go like a fiddler's elbow?
Looking to come Friday night and do the run on Saturday. Need to head home Saturday afternoon though.
Mind you, the shape I'm in, running might be stretching things a bit far. More like a waddle!!
I am bailing too. Mum diagnosed with cancer, not looking good so I am off to Holland to be with her.
Numbers are looking low for the dog and gun friday night, are you and martin up friday steve?
Myself and Pat will be in the Dog and Gun on Friday night. We'll have the pup with us who will only be 18 weeks old so can't go too far on the hills yet but we'll have a mooch, maybe meet up at some point and haven't planned what to do Saturday night yet, go with the flow.
I'll not be doing any running at XOTF this weekend as i have a worsening achilles issue. I might have a walk around all or part of the Dunnerdale Race route to recce some short cuts.
Is there still a meet and that Moot Hall thingy 10.30hrs on the saturday?
Well, three of us in the Dog and Gun last night. We've arranged to meet at Moot Hall at 10.30 but.....
Nige, i missed the 10.30 today because i'm hung over and slow. Have a nice day at the TDHelvellyn, i'll be in the Dog and Gun at 7.30-8.00ish tonight unless there is another plan, i'm shopping in Keswick today so i'll keep my eyes peeled for amex and martin if they are around.
I'm in the internet cafe so not online regularly, but i'll log back on later on this afternoon.
Nige, i'll be in the Dog and Gun at around 7.30 8.00ish. I don't think steve and martin are coming. I'm signing off now, the internet cafe closes soon.
Just the one hardy forumite in attendance on saturday night to keep the homefires burning and the Loweswater Gold flowing. Bumped into Chris K in one of the outdoor shops, the race we were trying to remember the name of is Elterwater Common! Noticed the lesser spotted forumite known as trimm trab on saturday night too. Can we recussitate the old girl for next year, or do we get the gamekeeper to rename the thread QAHXOTF?
