4m early morning trot with dog, the mutt rolled in something rather nasty and smelt like roadkill, showered, dried and brushed now!
6 x 150ft hill-reps on Beamsley Beacon. Nearly threw up after last one :closed:
7 miles / 500' around 'the hill' on the paths and tracks. Longest run since Februaury. Plus I earned 3 quid as I'm on call! :thumbup:
30 treadmill minute run including 8x1 minute fast reps 17-18kmh in the middle with 30 seconds rest. Followed by shoulders and arms in the weights area.
8.4miles along the canal tonight with the club, struggled a fair bit with heavy legs from Sunday but still managed to cover around 10k in 40 mins ish with a 1mile warm up and the same jogging back to the club. 57 mins total. Feeling pretty tired now.
Tuesday: 35min hilly run followed by 5x1200m (flat) with 90secs rest (45 walk, 45 jog).
Wednesday: 35min reco run to Mellor Cross, Bamford Race in the Evo.
Thursday: 135min, 22.3km/477m (convert it yourself!) long-un from Snake Summit home (New Mills), taking in Featherbed top, Ashop clogh, Western flank of Kinder, 624, Edge path, 633, Brown Knoll (lovely in these conditions!), South Head, Peep O' Day, Chinley Churn and into New Mills via Laneside. And all just so I could try and get a picture of Ballbeard farm:thumbup: - imagine my horror when I found they didn't have a sign for their comedy gold name!:mad:
Half hour sea swim. Water still like ice so suit needed. Two days rest before weekend Tri.
40 minute run incorporating hill reps in the middle. Would have done more reps but the draw of dinner led me home.
Hill reps totalling 1500ft.
Track session - 2 sets of 4 x 800m reps (2:45 per rep) with 200m recoveries. Good solid session
