Whoa, just hold that thought for the time being please......will get back to you as soon as possible.
Sue
yes indeed we have.
Team Tiggers Brown vest had an early start this morning.
First Nav problem was finding Snake summit!!.... No really! pitch black and 5 metre vis due to clag, You could hardly see the side of the road and certainly nothing beyond it, Completely missed it on the way out and didn't realise I'd missed it untill I started to descend and had to drive towards Glossop until out of the clag to turn round(only a fool would pull a Uturn in those conditions), Turned on the GPS to find the lay by....Crazy!!
We were in thick clag by the fence line on the way up to Howden Edge but at least we didn't need torches. A good thaw had left it very muddy but there was still snow and ice lingering in places, the ground was very mixed, one step and the bog was frozen under a thin layer of melt, the next was knee deep, tough going but we plodded along in to quite a strong cold NW'ly
From Swains head the route has been changed quite considerably with the whole area having been reseeded. all the bogs/path/trods have been covered in cut heather making route finding...different? I had to pause once or twice to check we were right(we were).
High up in the cloughs there are now lots(yes lots) of new dams that weren't there last week. These are made of stone so please becareful not to break them down. Still patches of deep snow on Bleaklow and with more snow forcasted for this weekend it can only get worse.
A quick scamper over from BS to Bleaklow Summit and on to WS, patches of hard ice and snow paticularly on the paved section of the PW to SS
Vis all the way was never better than 20-30 m until the last half mile when the sun finally came out and we saw our first walkers.
17.4 in 4.03 with one minor wander as we chatted. would have done sub 4.00 with out so very happy with that.
Just sent you PM Ian.

Mrs H and I had a similar experience on Wednesday albeit a lot slower than Tigger's Brown Vests but I did manage to avoid the Bogmonster between Cutgate and Outer Edge this time  I was watching out for the man trap which I think is marked as a Ford on the OS map - is that right IDP? Really enjoyable and useful day then quick detour into Fairholmes for a cuppa on way back to collect car from CB. We have asked for an early start time so all you fast teams can give us encouragement as you go speeding by - Good Luck
Hi folks - not been on here for a while, but suffice to say that if anyone is looking for 1 person to make up a 'racing' team then I would love to help out. I know how hard this event is to get into (I've done it twice and twice been let down by teammates!), so appreciate places will already be snapped up but just in case.
Mileage / speed should not be a problem (fingers crossed !)

Have a look here
Had trot along Howden this morning all the way to Wainstones and back, Lovely when I left the house so thought I'd see loads of HPMers out reccieing so it would be quite the social run, by the time I was up there it was thick clag and quite cool, Swainshead was very wet underfoot, Bleaklow was..well..Bleaklow! finally spotted another human soul at Wainstones but they were just walkers, so I turned round and returned by the Secret route only to bump in to my Neighbour and his team from Dark Peak Mohogany ridge, after much ribbing about and sandbagging about us both being lost they set off for Bleaklow and I to the Stones. I could see no one else so took a direct bearing for the fun of it and ran straight to Swains head were I picked up the next team from "No Sheep till Buxton"
As I got to the turn off cairn for Roundhill i met the 3rd team of the day "The Equine behind..." an all ladies team.
Couldn't see any one else along the ridge so dropped off early, there were plenty of fell shoe prints out there and even more dams since the last time I went out last week.
Thought there would have been more teams out though?
