She enjoyed a rest at the trough at Mankinholes and a picnic at Stoodley Pike and post-walk nose bag in Hebden Bridge!
I had a ruck sack packed full of spare clothes and first aid kit!
We discussed Sylvia Plath and how much we pay for baked beans!
oh, we also had great pies from the indoor market at Todmorden!
Can anyone advise what the going is like on the Howarth Hobble...I mean is it mostly tracks and paths...just thinking of footwear for the day...cheers
Me too. I find the Roclites are slightly kinder to the feet on the Hobble.
after smugly posting that I entered ages ago, I realised that I hadn't entered at all! :o
cue panicked entry last week and it appears from the latest list that I am in PHEW!
not sure how quick I'll go - 2 years ago pottered round with a friend in 8:24, but lot fitter now so maybe sub-7:30? doubt I'll threaten 7 hours...
and yes, Roclite 315's
