Lovely ride with Steve last night, when the rain storms cleared and the sun came out... into the Llanthony Valley, Fforest Coalpit, Llanbedr, Crickhowell, Abergavenny, Pantygelli, Llanthony Valley, back home... A few decent hills but not too many, a good ride, even though my quads were uncollaborative :D
I fear the worst for my TT tonight though, it is blowing a bit of a gale and raining and my quads feel awful!

It is awful here too, so I drove in, apart from the fact that I took the training bike to the LBS this morning to have < whispers > a compact fitted for the TdG...

oh.. and one of the bolts holding the rack on fell out as well. :mad:
Wuss... tighten the bolts occasionally and that won't happen...
I recieved two titanium bottle cages today, they are dead cool and super light and match the bike :D
Tuesday club ride today was out via a convoluted route to not so sunny Cleveleys by the sea. Cleveleys was full of old dears, as was the cafe at the top of the main street. A very good value fish & chips & pot of tea preceded a very wet but warm return journey. Very slow on the way out and a little more frisky on the way home. 76 miles and a tad under 18 average.
...day off from commuting (good day to miss with the rain). Back on the bike tomorrow.
