Brilliant race and stunning scenery, not that there was any to see last year. long fast descent after you have cleared the rocky path.

i did this last year and will do it again this year if I have recovered in time. wading across the stream and the boggy run up the valley was a bit chilly but it is a stunning setting
Hoping to make this my 1st race since the end of October. Did it 2 years ago and loved the climb and the long descent back to the village. Lovely area.
If anyone is heading up the M6 past Forton services and wants to car share post up or PM. I will add a post in the car share thread soon.
Anyone know if this is clockwise or anticlockwise? There's a route map on the dufton website but not sure which direction it goes.

I was up there last week and we were kicking steps up the climb in our fell shoes, the snow slope was steep! Its snowed a bit since and is doing now, does anyone know if the weather could lead to it being postponed or is that just a silly idea?
