I'm considering it, but it'd be persuading SWMBO to act as 'support' & leap-frog me with spare-wheels/drink/food?

Besides, sadly, I'm out of practice - the last Cyclo-Cross race I entered was Thornes Park (Wakefield) last December
Although, I'm hoping to get to the one at Elland on the evening of Wednesday 14th

My last and only cyclocross race was Three Peaks last year... it was also my first :)

I wouldn't worry - the 3pcx is more akin to trench warfare than an hour's blast around the park :)

LOL, quit aptly described :D It is a race unlike any other... I loved and hated it it hugely at the same time!

You'll love it.... three times and finally under 4 hours two years ago so I'm having a couple of years off. Have got some good local training routes including the Chinley Three Peaks so give me a shout if you fancy a ride out.

I am ini too... to take revenge on that broken cleat of last year! A LOT stronger on the bike this season too, so we shall see how much time I can take off last years... 45 minutes I hope!

I have been cycling so far this season and haven't run since the beginning of December! Let alone ride the crosser or carry it...

Trusting I can convert cycling fitness very quickly to the other bits needed... fingers crossed!
