Bugger!
The British lad finally gave up trying to score with his feet and used his head instead. Simeone got a touch of the 'Alan Pardews' at the end which was a shame as he has done a fantastic job with his team this season
I thought they were awful.. I was torn between supporting the underdog and supporting Real due to Ronaldo and Bale.. Real were poor, Ronaldo was just not fit and knew it, but AM were just awful. What was amazing was the number of bookings yet no red, it was so well orchestrated, not pragmatic football but outright cynical cheating...
Simone was a top player but manages how he played.. his moaning was just out of order, there was easily 3 mins of extra time. AM have only themselves to blame, a free kick at 90 mins in a CL final and you are 1-0 up.. and they shot tamely and gave away possession. It was the only moment in 120 minutes when they didn't time waste.
A big up for The Accies on winning promotion yesterday. Lost the first leg at home, had to put up with that w@nker Butcher celebrating on the pitch but came back to win on pens.
Scottish Championship looks tasty for next season with Hearts, Hibs and Rangers in it, slightly more interesting than wondering how many points Celtic will win the Premiership by
Pochettino in advanced talks with Tottenham
Well done the Cod Army today I was hoping they would go up out of the playoff teams
Appears a good bloke but who really would want to work for Levy?

Malcolm Glazer's died.. cant see it changing anything, his sons seemed to be ones most involved anyway..
Seen a few FB posts from United fans celebrating his death which isn't good to see at all.
Wenger agrees a new deal at Arsenal until 2017
Manager Brian McDermott has left Leeds United by mutual consent.

Rickie Lambert gone to Liverpool. I remember when he played for Rochdale
Roy Keane in talks to become assistant manager at Aston Villa
Wow, that was stupid.. bad challenge and reaction but two bookings would have sufficed. Likely to get bans, hopefully just 1 match. Says on the Beeb no bans, so thats lucky, hopefully Sterling has learnt his lesson as it was a silly challenge to make whether it was a red or not.
I think we can safely assume England are going to struggle in Brazil
This is my World Cup 11 from the BBC website.

I think we look OK, plenty of positives.. I'd rather another few friendlies and play our first 11, but we look fluid enough. The defence worries me a lot. We can score goals.
Trevor Francis made a good point (for once), for all the talk of Gerrard being this new holding player, is he really? Liverpool had a horrific defensive record so it didn't work that well so its early to say he's proven in that role.
We'll see, Uruguay will possibly be without Suarez.. Italy are beatable, we just need to cut out Pirlo, let him play and we lose.
Among the handful of forumites and ex forumites at Dunham Massey Park tonight one was to be seen warming up resplendent in his Man City shirt (and it wasn't Danbert)
Lightning stopped play.
Just seen England score from last night (0-0) against 10 men for last 30mins
Lets just face it, we will struggle at the WC. (book of excuses will be out AGAIN)
I would dare bet our 23 squad has the highest wage bill of all.
Roll on the Le Tour
I thought England played quite well in the second half and kept their cool against a Honduran side who either didn't understand the word 'friendly' or were taking back handers from Uruguay and Costa Rica to try and take out as many England players as they could before the WC
