well did the stroud half today and all went well. 1hr 40 39 seconds so pleased with that. my hill work definitely gave me an edge in those last few miles not sure anyone passed me and i was just hunting people down.
12.5 miles round Fewston and Thruscross reservoirs, ran with a relatively new runner who (afaik) hasn't gone any further than 7-8 miles before! Good work, few nice climbs up the front of Thruscross dam and up to the moor beyond as well. Happy days
A cracking 24 or so miles in the hills north of Dunkeld, felt better at the finish than I did at the start. Did not want to stop.
I have also abandonded jelly babies in favour of bassets allsorts
A steady 10k in 58 mins Up the PW from the A640 to Standedge and then down to Marsden on the pack horse path, along the canal and home. Fell and bashed my poorly ribs, such exquisite pain.
10 muddy miles with a very muddy dog, both enjoyed a good power shower after!
quick 45 mins doing a few up and overs of baildon moor
A proper Forum outing this doing the Moelwyn leg Capil to Aber, approx 22 miles and 6,000ft estimate(too tired to work it out yet) very wet underfoot, and very windy on top but not cold,
Accompanied by Nicky, Brent FPR, Blue Bike, Footpath Runner and King Snail, excellent day out in very good company
I was wondering how you got on, good effort Ian
Lots more days like that to come from what I gather
Did 14 road miles yesterday, taking in most of the Guy Fawkes 10 course. Could have been worse, scenery and weather were good but I think it's back to Pendle Hill for next weekend's long run.
