Looking forward to it even more now, I will report back to you Anti, and, of course, miss your curves in the car park:wink:

Ha ha, the old MWIS.
I always find it good for a laugh. Blizzards this time is it? Brrrr! I'll pack my suncream, then.
Could you cut and paste the forecast here, so that we can go back and check it on Saturday night to see if it was right?
Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
How Windy?
Easterly; 30 to to near many higher tops and ridges 40mph, gusts locally 50mph.
Effect Of Wind?
Will increase quickly with height to make walking difficult where exposed near higher ridges & tops: Considerable buffeting and wind chill likely.
How Wet?
Snow on and off all day
Intermittent, and particularly by afternoon, often light snow, will tend to ease only slowly through the day. Blizzards likely. Rain only in the valleys by afternoon.
Cloud on the hills?
Extensive; lowest base east
Cloud coming in from the east, base 450m, occasionally 300m will tend to lift toward 600m at least in Yorkshire.
Chance of cloud free Summits?
20%
Sunshine and air clarity?
Sunshine unlikely. Slight haze, but the air very much clearer - but widely foggy across the hills, particularly morning.
Temperature (at 600m)
Around -1C, dropping slowly during the day from the east.
And in the valleys
600m dropping toward 350m.

Good Hobble banter on tonight's club run with organiser Brett. This year's food sounds ace
