Re: Today's Training
Today's training has consisted of a really really slow run of 5.5m. Slow because I am dogsitting a small, slightly smelly (but lovable) border terrier who likes to sniff and pee every couple yards...oh, and I stopped to watch a kingfisher.
Last night's speed training wasn't so great either mainly because I was not speedy:D:o

Re: Today's Training
Early stack this morning so went out through Masham to Gollinglith Foot. From there went up the ridge onto Masham Moor into Nidderdale to Ouster Bank then did my best with a Landranger map to find my way back :)

Re: Today's Training
A great club trog last night up the Porter Valley and down the Limb Valley. Got up close and personal with a badger at the end which made the 8 mile effort/second half intervals well worth it
Tonight, hill sprints.

Re: Today's Training
12 miles around the first third of the Marsden Edale route. Great fun, 2200 feet up and down in 2:15. Met three hardy souls on their way down to Barber Booth from Marsden. I can't think of a finer way to cash in your weekend fun voucher!

Re: Today's Training
Long run out from Middlesmoor in Nidderdale, up How Stean Beck on Riggs Moor to Sandy Gate, along the boundary to Blake Hill then Great Whernside, along to Little Whernside before dropping off to Sca House Res, then back over the tops on the Nidderdale way back to Middlesmoor.
Very wet and boggy, but nice views none the less, took just short of 4 hours, but had to get the map out a few times to find elusive trods! :)

Re: Today's Training
Sounds a great 'un Hirsty !
13 miles for me around the moors of Burley-In-Wharfedale, Ilkley, Addingham Moorside, High Plantation & Rombalds before, reluctantly, dropping back down to Burley for lunch with the in-laws. Steady away in 1.50. Boggy brilliance.

Re: Today's Training
Arncliffe, Monk's Road, Malham Tarn, Fountains Fell, traverse of PyG, longer way down to Horton.
Charming, all the way.
Nice to see the shale path on Fountains is turning green as the grass grows back through.
And a pint of tea and hot buttered crumpets in the PyG cafe when I caught up with the Mrs who had been for a walk.

Re: Today's Training
Been suffering with a heavy cold all week, no running since Great Whernside. Got out this aft down along the Ribble to Stainforth Foss, up to Little Stainforth, Smearsett and Pot Scar, and back via Feizor, Buchaw Brow and Giggleswick Quarry. The weather was superb, clear as a bell, and a joy to be back out running.
No idea of precise distance but 1hr 40.
