yesterday did Black Chew Head and Black Hill from Crowden all new ground for me about 10 mile round trip. Today new ground also went up onto moors above Mytholmroyd from Jerusalem Farm did just over 10 miles and some good climbing taking in sections of Calder Valley Way and a couple of trig point on Midgley Moor. two good days.

Another 5k on roads yesterday, almost finnished decorating the lounge can get back to some good running then.

Just over 6 miles up and down the Wessenden Valley with the headtorch blazing! 830 ft ups and downs in 56 mins. Cold wind though.

Got out round Kentmere Horseshoe this morning, very windy across top of nan bield but otherwise great. Oh. Apart from falling headfirst in bog mud coming off Kentmere Pike!

6 miles off road Saturday, 5 miles road tonight. First time I've run solely on the road for months. Thought I was going ok, but looking at my watch when I got back it was shockingly slow!

Tentative 3 miles on roads round Settle, seemed ok, will definitely be at Bolton by Bowland on Sunday.

Did a 36 miler Sunday legs were shot at the end though, good time for the 1st 26 and then was slower than a reversing robin reliant for the last 10 , still did it though so verry happy

Afraid to admit I got caught out by the weather today. I actually started shivering towards the end of my run, not a good sign. And before anybody pipes up, yes I had bum bag, spare top, hat, gloves, drink & food ! 10 miles over the moors from Saltaire to Burley-In-Wharfedale. I've never known such an evil combination of howling wind & driving rain. Got home & fell asleep in the bath. Hard as nails me.
