Ian,
yeah, the Bleaklow stones CP wasnt where I thought it was going to be, seemed to be a lot further NW than expected. Wainstones wasn't quite where i was expecting it to be either...
Lucky I didn't recce any "perfect" lines!

Thank you to Richard and all the helpers and students for another grand day er... night out. It's a great event. No it is. Really. And I'm having a good look for me rose tinted specs. Or at least I would do if I could move.
Would have been interesting if the event had been 24 hours later - snow on the hills this morning!
I'd also like to thank the organisers, Richard and all the marshalls for their friendly support (and surreal costumes)
Note to newcomers: The HPM ages your legs like dog years, but times ten (after each race you wake up 70 years older).
A zimmer would have been useful at a party I was at on Saturday night (but managed to trot DOWN Lightside today)
Can I have the rose tinted specs next please Grouse, in time for next year.
Yep, thanks to Filthy rich and all the HPM team for another night of exquisite torture. Splits now up on the Sportsident site. Definitely a case of you win some you lose some so far as the nav was concerned; lose concentration for a moment and the consequences could be rather severe.
A top night and day out. Thanks to the organisers and ever-cheerful marshalls who kept us amused. A pretty tough night in the bogs but what a glorious morning once the fog burned off.
