Wise choice Brett, and of course you'll spend the whole of the Hobble in the school, Thanks in advance, without you we wouldn't be able to enjoy whatever Saturday brings:thumbup:

Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
Met Office forecast:
Saturday
Rain at all levels initially is likely to turn to snow over the summits by the middle of the day and then progressively to lower levels during the afternoon. Hill fog. Strong easterly winds will make it feel very cold at altitude as the freezing level drops to only around 300m by the end of the day.
Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
Well it looks like I'm up for being a last minute Hobbler. A few dumb questions:
1. Is the route marked and/or easy to follow
2. Presumably I just need snacks and a drink to tide me over the gaps between any food stops?
3. How many food stops (if there are indeed food stops) are there?
4. I don't have an OS map - do I need to get one (or print off a few bing maps)?
5. Get there for 7 ish for an 8 start yeah?

1. Not marked, easy to follow apart from some tricky points (mainly in housing areas) where you could get lost. Lots of others to follow.
2. Emergency rations part of the rules.
3. Five refreshment stops.
4. Map is part of the rules, copies should be ok (you may need a map depending on conditions).
5. registration 6:30-7:30
