I think this is the first time I've run twice in a day and it was really good. Had a muddy 10miler this morning then a headtorch speed session at harriers this evening. 8 x 2min efforts with a minute recovery. Am a bit knackered now though!:)
I ran the 14 miles to work this morning in 2 hours. Slowly does it!
Yesterday 2 hours slog through the mud on the mtb.
Today 40 mins run with 5 hill reps thrown in. Weights and stretching this evening
Steady canal run tomorrow and oxenhope saturday
Track tonight on a balmily nearly warm night, slightly surreal, anyway it was a VO2 Christmas Tree session, oh joy, about 6 miles in all.
Its all part of the build up for the Esk Valley Christmas/New Year trio of Guisborough Woods, Captain Cooks and Clay Bank East, Brill:D.
Love the Guisborough Woods Race! I bona fide classic! Working this year! :( Only done Capt Cooks once...nearly hoyed at the finish!! New Years Day can be a bad day to race! Nine Standards is a good one tho too!
I ran to work from Lincoln to Coningsby all the way along the River Witham - just under 24 miles, 3hrs 30, altitude gain about zero but I did go over a couple of bridges. that Lincolnshire for you. Very jealous of all you guys who live in the hills!
A slow 5 miles on the local hills, last nights salads followed by a cheese board failed to provide suitable fuelling, aided no doubt by zero brekkie and zero lunch.
The wine had nothing to do with it!!!
Looking forward to a good 4hrs out tomo running around some woods working on my Nav..... at least I think Im looking forward to it....
A good 13 miles out with Pete Beer llanberis to Snowdon and then followed the Paddy B back into Llanberis. I drove back home whilst pete put in that bit extra up onto Elidir.
